We met on Christian Connection a couple of years ago. I was completely against the idea of online dating, and actually had a couple of friends on different websites, constantly trying to get me signed up, and I always refused. One day, after a conversation with one friend, I decided to give it a go. I thought to myself, ‘at least, after this, you can say you’ve tried everything’.

The old saying ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step’ rings true for very many Christians who met their life partner online.

Zuliana & Tope met on Christian Connection in October 2012 and married in March 2013. They share their story on Premier Gospel Radio.

Christian Connection has a special connection with Greenbelt. We launched ourselves on an unsuspecting world at Greenbelt in 2000 and some of our earliest couples met via CC shortly afterwards. It has also been a great way to reach and connect with CC members. For about 5 years we ran some huge speed dating events with upwards of 500 people. Many found friendships and marriage but it was also very hard work. Since Greenbelt called time on speed dating, we have organised a number of more casual events either on the official programme or more commonly just inviting members and their friends to get together.

Richard and Julie tell their story of how they met on Christian Connection. Richard lived in Surrey and Julie in Stirling, over 400 miles apart! They clicked after their first meeting at Heathrow and after maintaining a long distance relationship, Richard finally popped the question at the top of the Wallace Monument. Julie said yes and they’ve been happily married since October 2007.

At last years Christmas party we celebrated 10 years of Christian Connection. We previewed a short film showing interviews with some of our past members. We’re always encouraged to hear stories of how people get together through the website and we hope you are too!
