Who would have thought that two people who grew up 15 minutes apart would meet on the internet! Well, God works in mysterious ways.

After experiencing the heart break of infidelity and the grief of a divorce, I was finally ready to pick up the pieces and move on. I knew that God had someone special chosen for me - I just had to find him. That's where Christian Connection came in.

I had been on a number of dates with gentlemen I'd met through Christian Connection, but I hadn't managed to find Mr Right. I continued to pray for that special someone, knowing that God would bring him along at just the right time.

From the very first message I received from Mal, I could tell he was genuine. We soon discovered that our families new each other, we had grown up in neighbouring towns and we had been attending churches 10 minutes apart for a few years. On our first date we talked for so long that the waitress in the coffee shop started vacuuming around us! I knew from that first night that he was the man I would spend the rest of my life with.

In March this year, we gave full glory to God as we were joined as husband and wife. I have found my best friend and soul mate, and we are looking forward to starting a family soon.
