Dear Christian Connection. I’d like to share our success story! Victoria and I (Jim) met on here in December 2021. Victoria bravely sent me a like first. After reading her profile and seeing her pictures, I was firstly drawn to two things about her - how she spoke genuinely about her relationship with God and her beautiful eyes. So, I messaged her and we had a real connection.

From here, we spent time getting to know each other firstly online and on the phone. We talked, laughed and shared a lot. After a couple weeks, we went on our first date in January '22! Our connection grew stronger and on Mother’s Day (March '22) we became an item officially.

From March ‘22 to February ‘23 we dated long distance, London - Manchester, and on Valentine’s Day (Feb ‘23) I popped the question! From there, we got straight to planning our wedding. It was a lot of joint effort but I have to highlight that Victoria is so creative. The decor was awe inspiring, amongst many other things she planned for our special day.

We sought God, prayed together, had our family and friends praying for us and supporting us, and we were intentional about our love and building a life together. And in August '23, our connection was complete and the two became one! We thank, honour and glorify God.

Thank you, Christian Connection, for providing a great platform for Christians to connect in this world of online dating. It helped us to connect through Jesus, our common ground, and filter out a lot of the unwanted distractions (in online dating).

Love is an action. Don’t just feel it, do it. Love is real. Love is a choice and a decision. Love is a commitment. God is love ❤️
