Caroline & Ian

Caroline is Brazilian and Ian is English and we both moved to Dublin in Ireland to work or study. When Caroline decided to wholeheartedly put God first in her life she meet Ian through Christian Connection as Ian had been praying for a wife. God decided that it was His perfect timing to bring them together in July 2017.

"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." Matthew 6:33

After chatting online for a week we met at Ian's church and became a couple a month later. We dated for a year before Ian proposed in Brazil in front of Carol's family and friends on her birthday! We're due to be married in January 2019 in Brazil and are ready to spend the rest of our lives together!

We are so thankful that Christian Connection was created and that God used it as a way of bringing us together. Without it it would have been much harder to find each other, particularly in the city! Meeting online also gave us a chance to get to know each other a little before we met, which made things a lot easier! We are so grateful that we share the same faith and know how important it is to be able to live out our relationship as God intends with Jesus at the centre. We look forward to our new life together!
