My husband Dave and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for running your wonderful service. We both joined CC hoping to dip a toe in the water. Initially we just thought of it as a good way to meet some great new Christian people and simply have some fun. Little did we know that eventually we would find the person we would marry!

We both really liked the look of each other's profiles and began to email each other in September. Our first date was on Friday the 13th December that year (far from unlucky; it was a very special day for both of us) when Dave took me for a romantic backstage tour of Phantom of the Opera, with very good seats to see the performance afterwards as well. We were strongly attracted to one another and exactly a year later, on the 13th of December, he proposed, in the even-more-romantic setting of Verona, Italy! It absolutely took my breath away. We were married in September this year, and are brimming over with joy, because both of us at one time or another thought we might never find the right person to share our lives with.

To anybody thinking of joining (or rejoining) CC, we would say - don't give up hope. In our case, our 6 month subscriptions had just run out, we were a little discouraged, and we were each the last person we had to meet, if that makes sense. I guess you could say it takes a little time and patience to find a diamond.

So, thank you again! It was the best £60 both of us ever spent...
