We met online at the beginning of March last year and found we had loads in common, mainly singing and cycling, but other interests too. We met up for a couple of cycle rides, which both ran way over because we were so busy talking! After a picnic and a walk, followed by going to church and a time of prayer, we both knew that a relationship felt right.

After that, we were pretty much inseparable and knew within a few weeks that we would get married. It took both of us by surprise, as neither of us had expected it.

Alistair proposed in July, and we were married on 7th April this year, just shy of our 1st anniversary. We both feel immensely blessed and in awe of such a loving God who brought us together in such a strong way.

Although it moved quickly, our relationship - and now marriage - is founded in a strong friendship, as well as romance, and of course our relationship with God. Our wedding Bible quotation was Ecclesiastes 4:12 - A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

To those of you still looking - don't give up, but wait on the Lord; his timing is perfect!
