Karen & Nick

We began messaging at the end of March 2018. We are both in our mid-forties. We weren't living near each other, but we met at the end of April and continued to chat. By the end of June we'd both decided this was going beyond friendship. We began spending most weekends together from July onwards and Nick proposed in October. We are getting married in Nick's church in Devon, after which we will live together in the Bournemouth area (where I already live).

What we found useful was being completely honest about our views and our pasts, and it helped that we were both willing to 'widen the net' outside our immediate locality. Nick had had no luck with previous matches and had let his membership lapse, but luckily had forgotten to remove his profile. Had it not been for this, I wouldn't have seen it and waved. We are very grateful to Christian Connection for bringing us together and we encourage others not to give up the search.
