Melanie & Ray

When I first used Christian Connection a few years ago I was sceptical to say the least. I saw the photos of married couples and thought it was a clever little bit of marketing.
People don't fall in love online, right?
That's what I thought until I met Ray: a funny, chatty, Christian man who lived not too far from me.
Online dating has downsides too and my experience hadn't always been great so by the time I was meeting Ray for coffee I automatically assumed my afternoon would be wasted by a guy who wasn't all he had let on to be.
To my surprise we spent a lovely afternoon together and his genuine warmth and kindness led to date number two.
That was back in 2017 and how time flies when you're having fun! Ray and I got married last week, a Friday in June and had photos on the beach in Northern Ireland, not far from where we live.
We were remarking to each other on honeymoon how our paths would never have crossed had it not been for the website. We can't imagine our lives now without each other so we just wanted to say thank you so much for giving us a Christian platform to find each other.
