Felicity & Scott

Thank you Christian Connection for providing the platform which brought me and my very soon-to-be Husband together. We met on your site at the end of May last year whilst we were still in a national lockdown. As soon as we were allowed to meet up outside we drove to Milton Country Park to meet up for a walk half way between our two homes (me in Norfolk and Scott in NW London). After the very first date we both knew we'd just met the person we'd spend the rest of our life with. A summer of long walks and leisurely picnics followed, some lasting 7 hours! Then in September, Scott asked me to marry him and it was the easiest yes ever. We had originally planned to marry in February 2021 but because the UK was in another lockdown we weren't allowed to go ahead. We've finally received the good news that England's road map allows us to go ahead and marry next week in April 2021 (Hurrah!) and we are thrilled to be doing so at Norwich Cathedral.

My number one tip for other members is to be clear with yourself about your own values and what you're looking for and stick with it. God has a plan for you and he works all things for our good.
