Matt & Vicky

Both Matt and myself (Vicky) had used CC previously and met a variety of different people so we already knew how wonderful the community of people were but we hadn’t had any luck in finding ‘The One’.
On the day that I moved from the South East of England to the North East of England, Matt came up on my suggested list of people as I was now in his geographical search area. I sent the first message and we started talking.
As I was still in the process of settling in to my new home, leaving a stressful job, and there being some covid restrictions still in place, we didn’t meet up for about four months. When we did our first date lasted over 4 hours and we had a wonderful time!
Three dates later we made our relationship official, 16 months after our first date Matt proposed, and less than a year later we are married!
The goodness of God and His perfect timing has been so apparent in our relationship and we feel so blessed to have met each other and to be walking in step with what we feel God has for us. Matching with each other didn’t happen in our early 20s as we might have wanted, and didn’t happen in the way that we might have expected it to, but God’s plan for our lives to cross at this point in our 30s and 40s has been His perfect timing and we are very grateful for CC bringing us together.
