Jamie sent me a heart first… we were living in 2 different states and I was hesitant because of the distance but there was an undeniable instant attraction to each others personalities, values and common interests. Our faith was central to our connection. We became official before we even met in person. 2 weeks after that we met in person and the connection and chemistry followed through. What followed was lots of patient travel back and forth and a love story developing. 3 months later we got engaged and then got married 1 year and 1 week after we began dating! Our biggest tip to other people searching for their life partner is to always give someone a chance. Don’t automatically write someone off due to distance, age, looks, etc. love grows in many different ways and God could be authoring the most beautiful story if we step outside our comfort zones.
