I just thought I’d let you know that I joined the site in Dec 2015. I was unsure and had a look without joining a few times, but was only drawn to one person – still I was unsure, his profile was interesting but something made me hold back. Just before Christmas he added another photo, and there was a special offer on, so I thought why not give it ago. So I joined, waved at him and then waited. He waved back and we started chatting via messages. As we only lived about 10 miles from each other he suggested meeting at the local shopping centre for a coffee, which we did on Wednesday 30th December – I didn’t stop talking (a nervous habit) and he said hardly anything!! But we decided to see each other again, although because of various things it couldn’t be for about 2 weeks. We carried on chatting, now on the phone too. Our first proper date was a day out at Lee Valley, we went for a long walk along the river and around the park, and had lunch, and then out for dinner. At the end of the evening, sitting in Pizza Express in Epping I knew that he was the one for me. To cut a long story short we got engaged in April 16 and married on 1st October. We are both really happy and are enjoying our married life together.
